We had a really nice Christmas this year! Brandon got into the Christmas spirit and understood a whole lot more than last year. He REALLY enjoyed getting presents:-) On the 23rd we drove down to Baton Rouge and spent the week with Steve's family. It was such a relaxing and fun trip and I think everyone got to see a true glimpse of how Brandon acts - sweetness and time outs all included! :-) That was the first week I have felt good since Halloween and I ate a ton of Mrs. Jill's good cooking - it was great! We also got to meet Baby John this visit - good practice for Brandon and myself - hard to believe that will be our life in five months! Brandon and his cousin, Avery, were best buds right from the start and played so well together. It was cute to watch.

Brandon, PawPaw and EenaWe had a really nice time opening presents at Gigi's and Pops' house New Year's Eve too. It started with a great ham dinner, presents ( in which a little voice kept asking Gigi if there was one more present for him after he opened the previous one) and then everyone had fun taking turns on the Wii. Brandon had to show everyone how it was done! Pops was trying to spin Brandon around in the family room to make him dizzy and Pops not Brandon ended up crashing into a table and almost falling on the floor! It was hilarious! So glad Mom and I caught that one:0)
