Holy Cow Farm

Today we went to Holy Cow Farm, a petting zoo in Alpharetta. We had a great time riding the bumpy hayride, picking a small pumpkin in the "pumpkin patch," decorating it and of course meeting all the animals. Brandon is fearless when it comes to animals which sometimes isn't a good thing. They had pigs, chickens and cats all roaming free on the farm. There were also goats, donkeys, a llama and a miniature horse inside the pen. A sheep followed Brandon around and nudged him a lot, especially when he wanted attention. A black goat leaped onto the picnic table when the kids were trying to decorate their pumpkins - Brandon didn't seem to mind. He also held a baby guinea pig and pet a bunny and a hen laying on her eggs. When it was time to leave we went into the pen and saw two HUGE pigs sleeping on top of each other snoring - it was hilarious. When the kids went over to touch the pigs, they didn't even notice - kept snoring as if they weren't even there. Brandon thought that was great:-)

Ansley, Brandon, Ian and Teddy - aren't they cute?!
